We are Paul and Sue Delanty and we are located in the town of Bolton, Lancashire.

We would like to welcome you to our website the home of Dingdarlin English Springer Spaniels, where our dogs are first and foremost pets, although some are currently being shown;  they also live in our home as part of our family.

We have owned dogs for all of our married life.  Our first dog was a six month old rescue mongrel, a funny looking black and white bitch (Cindy), who had a heart of gold.  Sadly at the grand age of 17 years we lost her.  This left us with a huge hole in our hearts and for  two and a half years we had no dogs at home, until our daughter came home one day carrying a tiny cross breed pup and said "mum, please can we keep her", well what can you say when you are faced with a cute puppy and a pleading daughter. She was named Tia, and once again our house had a dog, although being our daughters dog she wasn't ours to own.  After seeing Tia grow from a puppy we thought it was time once again to look at finding our own dog and after much thought we decided on an English Springer Spaniel a breed that Paul has always admired.  So this is where the story begins.

Our Affix is taken from the name of a wildlife sanctuary on the island of Sanibel off the west coast of Florida, where we have spent many happy times.

We hope that you will enjoy our website and come back from time to time to see how our family of Spaniels are getting on and what they have been up to.
